Environment Trust is an established conservation charity for both the natural and built environment. We educate, empower and mobilise people to improve, preserve and protect their neighbourhood for the benefit of nature and people everywhere.

Hours:                          Occasional full day at weekends or during week

Commitment:               Preferably a minimum commitment of three months with the potential to be extended into a longer-term position

Location:                     London boroughs of Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow

The Trust believes that the local and natural environment are important and deserve improvement, preservation and protection. Our aim is to actively engage the local community in their environment by providing opportunities for learning and volunteering. We need volunteers who we can train to help supervise larger groups. You’ll support the Nature Conservation Manager with running practical volunteering sessions including the preparation of tools and resources, the supervision of volunteers, practical conservation activities and clearing up at the end of the event.

If you’re looking to work in conservation but lack experience, this is the ideal position for you. You will be provided with training in the above skills and expertise. You will also have the opportunity to network, support local communities and help conserve the natural world.
