Every year a few larger wonderful art works are kindly donated for a Silent Auction, held at the Secret Art Sale. Below each piece of art will be a form for you to add your bid. You can up your bid later if someone has offered more than you. Bids will close at 5pm on Sunday 29th September and the highest bid will receive the art work.

'Northern Line' - Oil on canvas - 92 x 122 cm

This magnificent oil is valued at £5,800 but the opening bid is £2,500.

Robert Wells is a Yorkshire-born painter, who studied in London and now lives in East Sussex. Many people know him for his cityscape paintings, particularly around London. He worked for several years as an architectural illustrator, which you can see in many of his paintings. In recent years, his work has seen a shift from architecture to include more figurative elements, with complex multi-layered narratives.

Robert regularly exhibits at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and is a member of the New English Art Club.

Anne Swankie trained at Richmond School of Art and has taken part in shows including exhibitions by the Society of Women Artists and Society of Landscape Painters, and the Pastel Society Annual Exhibition. Anne lives in Richmond and works in her studio at the bottom of her garden.

Gill Smith has an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL. She combines traditional printmaking techniques of intaglio and screen-printing with digital and laser technology to create 2D and 3D works that explore light, texture and movement.
