Over 50 volunteers from businesses in Richmond joined the Environment Trust and Be Richmond to clear litter from the river during the annual Draw Off on Friday 16th November, with more joining Duke of Edinburgh award students on Saturday 17th November. Their commitment to improving the environment was a fantastic example, giving something back to the community that they work in.

Rubbish and recyclable materials were separated with First Mile arranging special collections of the recycling.

A large amount of rubbish, including two bicycles and a safe was recovered to be removed later by the Port of London Authority along with the cage they had provided for waste to be kept secure in.
