Every year, the Port of London Authority opens the weirs at Richmond, so that they can carry out essential maintenance work to the Grade II* Listed, late-Victorian Richmond Lock. As a result, at low tide the the Thames returns to its natural levels, leaving large areas of the foreshore between Richmond and Teddington exposed.

Join Environment Trust for a leisurely walk along the Arcadian Thames from Richmond to Ham led by Thames Landscape Strategy Co-ordinator, Jason Debney. During the walk we will see the river in its natural state, including historic features and wildlife normally covered with water.

Tickets cost £12 and are available on Eventbrite (booking essential).

Please meet outside Asgill House at the end of Old Palace Lane. There will be forays onto the exposed foreshore so wellies are recommended!
