Sunday's rain certainly didn't put a dampener on Open House London. In just four hours, over 400 people visited the Trust's four sites! These included Kilmorey Mausoleum, Grove Gardens Chapel, Sir Richard Burton's Mausoleum and a WW2 air raid shelter. People travelled from as far as Blackpool to learn about the lives of some of the area's most scandalous and eccentric characters, like the Earl of Kilmorey, who built a tunnel from his house in St Margaret's to the mausoleum of his mistress!

We are hugely grateful to all the volunteers who helped us on Sunday, without whom the day wouldn't have been possible.

And don't worry if you missed out - we're already planning for next year!
